Cardboard Laptop Stand

Hello Everyone

Here is something very cool and inexpensive too.

Get your laptop off the table and stop hunching over to see the screen with this cardboard laptop stand. It’s small, light, free & green and it will help you cut down on the trips to the chiropractor. Did I mention it’s super easy to make? I originally found this idea at Thingiverse.com, where Erik Skiff whipped up a pretty cool acrylic stand. I didn’t have any acrylic and more importantly I didn’t have a lazer cutter make the cuts, so I did it on cardboard. I modified the design a little so the pattern would fit on a regular letter sized sheet of paper. Check out our tutorial…

You might try making it out of foamboard (available at Staples and Michaels). A little more expensive, and a little less enviromentally friendly, but much more durable.
See

for instructions on cutting the stuff.
